There is little question that structured bags are dominating the accessories market right now. I have previously discussed my love for a bag that can withstand the hustle and bustle of the MTA at rush hour, and how recently stiff leather is taking over bag production. The clutch is not exempt from a makeover, and I love this season’s new shape: many brands are offering clutches that look like a stuffed envelope. I love that the clutches have darts on the corners so there is extra room to conceal your 6S and studded wallet, and it is sturdy enough to not get lost in coat check. So far I have mostly seen clutches in a solid neutral, and I would love to see some styles in a fun stripe or bright primary color.
