I recently bought a faux fur jacket from a Buffalo Exchange. It isn’t well insulated, but when I wear it I feel a little extra regal and uptown. It’s black, therefore it goes with everything, and its voluminous shape breathes fresh air into a basic outfit (and dogs on the street are more likely to think of you as a friend). I wore it on Valentine’s Day a couple of weeks ago with a frilly pink dress and high heels (seen here), and today I am wearing it to dress up a plain black shirt and blue jeans. The faux fur jacket is slightly cropped, so it complements the high rise of my jeans. I stuck with black ankle boots to keep everything harmonious, and because I didn’t want to make too loud of a statement. Overall, I felt very “New York Street Style,” ready to defeat the winter blues.
