Easter Sunday is one of my favorite holidays because it gives ladies of all ages an opportunity to dress in their best Spring looks. When it comes to Easter style, I push two main rules: no denim and no black. Easter is a day to celebrate family and the new beginnings of spring, so casual jeans and unenthusiastic black should be reserved for another day. Ultra feminine silhouettes decorated in pretty pastels, flirtatious florals, and romantic fabrics dominate church goers, brunch attendees, and egg hunters alike.
My Easter Sunday consists of a morning church service followed by family brunch, and then spending the rest of the day with my cousins by the Jersey Shore. This year, I wore a pretty white dress from Maje with nude heels and soft coral makeup. It was cooler in the morning, so I threw an off white cardigan over my dress for morning Mass. Luckily, I went the entire day without getting chocolate bunny droppings on my dress, so I am able wear this dress again for any upscale occasions throughout the spring and summer.
