As I have discussed on the blog before, wearing black in the summer is a dangerous game: you have to consider the undergarments required, humidity, location, AC at said location, etc. I really like this black dress because it is pleated in the back, so it feels like wearing a tent. Even a small gust of wind is enough to keep me well ventilated, but I need to proceed with caution when crossing over subway grates (contrary to popular belief, I am not as glamorous as Marilyn Monroe). Of course, I am wearing my white sandals, and I put on red lip stain to distract from my sweaty forehead.
