Thanksgiving is a time to find out which of your cousins voted for Trump, watch pop stars you are out of touch with butcher Sinatra songs on a non-corresponding parade float, and discover if you have finally aged out of the kids table (Spoiler Alert: I still haven’t). Even though most of the leaves have fallen, Thanksgiving is the pinnacle of the autumn spirit, and the outfit you choose to go elbows deep in sweet potatoes in should reflect that.

Despite any differences in political opinion, this year I am embracing my family and wearing a vintage dress that was my great- aunt’s from the 1960s. When my great aunt died, my mom’s cousin found a lot of her clothes from the 60s that were my size and sent them my way. This brown floral dress happened to fit perfectly, and is very well suited for this autumn holiday. I paired the dress with brown suede loafers, and a tan overcoat to combat the crisp weather. I hope you all had a fabulous Thanksgiving!
